Something a little different - Cheap hosting and free domain name

Free websites are great but the problem will always be that your site can be deleted at any time. In addition it is hard to make a backup of those free sites and then restore them. I have seen many sites and hard work go down the drain because people wanted to save out on paying a few dollar.
Believe me, it is a good investment to have your own domain. Some let you pay through paypal so you do not need a creditcard. If you start advertising on your website, like google ads you may even get some extra income or play even on your website costs.
Here are 2 hosting companies we recommend:

StartLogic - Great host, good service and good deals

A Courageous man! Thank you!

Finally a fair reporter, sticking to facts and laying out the story in a logical manner. "So here is the truth: Israel did not do anything close to what it was capable of doing.  Hezbollah did all it could.. Lebanon is..exaggerating what happened to IT because it can not bear to say that most of what was destroyed was Hezbollah’s assets". This is part of the article you can read here.

A day after he posted this, William Arkin got a flood of hate mail... you can change the picture by commenting to the blog post.

Raise Awareness to the story of the 3 kidnapped soldiers

Giyus has created a banner that you can add to your sites and distribute to your friends. Clicking it leads you to a dynamic content page that wil be updated with actions you can do and help with to raise awareness and help free the soldiers.

The code to the banner is:

 <!-- Begin kidnapped badge --><br />
<iframe style="border: none; overflow: visible;" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" src="http://www.giyus.org/kidnapped/badgeframe.html" width="120" height="320"></iframe><br />
<!-- End kidnapped badge -->

Please use this banner and distribute the link to your friends.

Only by working together can we make a difference for the 3 men who will not get to celebrate the New year (Jewish new year's eve is on Friday, in 2 days) with their families.....

Is BBC afraid of the TRUTH?!

All I have to say about this - Amazing!
The following entry is copied from Giyus.org (click here for the full entry). I myself voted on this poll and I can promise you, all Giyus did was tell its members "there is a poll at this link, please vote"...that's all. And what does BBC do? They remove the poll after we voted. They removed it after there were a lot more YES answers than NO. And if that is not enough they also FORGED the results by leaving up the result page with the results PRIOR to our votes (when, as you can see in the picture, there are more NO votes than YES).
They refuse to comment on it and I wonder why - do they have anything to hide?! Are they so afraid of the truth? of finding out many people think that Holocaust denial SHOULD be made illegal!?

In any case, I am going to complain to them. What are YOU going to do?! Are you going to let them get away with this?
----------------------------------------------------
A few weeks ago, we've asked for your vote in a poll conducted by BBC History Magazine. The poll question was: Do you think holocaust denial should be made illegal in Britain?. With anti Semitism at peak levels in the UK, we've encourage you to vote yes in answer to the History Magazine poll.

For unexplained reasons, the magazine removed the online poll shortly after you all cast your votes. The
Register reported this incident and claimed the magazine refused to comment on it. However, History Magazine staff writer Robert Attar wrote in response to inquiry by the Register at the end of August:

"I am aware about this situation. I had a look at their site and all they have done is encouraged their members to vote on the polls which seems legitimate to me.."

So why was the poll pulled off? While the link to the specific poll was removed from the polls page, the original web page is still
available and shows the following results for the poll prior to removal:

[see picture added to this message]

Perhaps, the editors at the History Magazine didn't like the implications of these results. Please send an
email to the editors of BBC History Magazine and request the poll will be back online, its results available to readers of the magazine. If not ask them to explain to their readers they removed the poll just because "too many" jewish people have cast their vote.

Don't let them silence you - blog this story and spread it around.

 Update posted by Giyus:

UPDATE at Sep. 9th:

In reaction to our complaints the BBC History Magazine has posted the following clarification:

"Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have removed our voting system for a short while.

When news of David Irving's arrest in Austria on the charge of
Holocaust Denial broke in November 2005, BBC History Magazine ran an
online poll via our Web site, which asked the question "Do you think
Holocaust denial should be made illegal in Britain?" We reported the
result of this poll in our January 2006 issue, with 330 votes being
cast in favour, and 277 votes against. We left the poll active on the
Web site after we'd announced these results, in line with our normal
practice with web polls. We have recently seen a substantial upsurge in
voting on the holocaust denial poll. This caused us some technical
problems, but more importantly, given that we have already reported on
the results in the magazine and thus do not intend to do so again, we
felt it was inappropriate to keep the vote open. BBC History Magazine
web polls will now close for voting once they have been featured in the
magazine. That policy also applies retrospectively to our old polls."

Thanks for your support on this campaign!

Another (partial) success for Giyus - Hitler is gone!

The Restaurant in India called "Hitler's cross" received a huge bulk of complaints from people all over the world through Giyus. A partial success has been registered today when they took down the Hitler poster and the swastika signs. However, they still have not changed the name of the restaurant....
